About us

Twenty-seven years of educating Msambweni

Mvindeni Secondary School is a public mixed day secondary school registered by the Ministry of Education and serving the families of Msambweni Sub-County, Kwale County, Kenya.

Our history

Mvindeni Secondary School was established by the community as a day school so that children of Msambweni would no longer travel long distances for secondary education. Starting with two classrooms and a single stream, the school has grown into a four-stream institution with science laboratories, a computer laboratory, a library and a demonstration farm.

The school is governed by a Board of Management working with the Parents Association, the Sub-County Director of Education and the Teachers Service Commission.
